Lane, Bec, and Simi are three visual artists studying at different art schools: Cooper Union, Parsons, and RISD. Their journeys began together in the same high school studio in Lucas, TX, under the mentorship of Brice McCasland. I documented their transition from the high school program to their current experiences. To capture this evolution, I gave each artist a camera to document their daily lives and placed their photos alongside mine which were taken when I visited their colleges. 

This is just a glimpse of their beginnings.
